The Wimbledon Championships of this season have come to an end. The tournament, before wrapping up on Sunday hosted some high-caliber clashes. Further, on one hand, Novak Djokovic successfully defended his title in the men’s circuit. And on the other the Russian-born Kazak, Elena Rybakina, clinched her first ever Grand Slam.

While some players made noteworthy achievements such as the runner-up, Nick Kyrgios who executed his first ever Grand Slam finals run. Other players such as Rafael Nadal and Iga Swiatek faced not-so-pleasing outcomes. However, with this balance of joy and sorrow, the grass swing ended, and the vacations started.

How to spend your vacation, tennis edition

Many tennis entities, before jumping on the hard courts of the US Open, decided to take some time out for themselves. Starting with the Canadian tennis ace Vasek Pospisil. The former World No. 25  attended his friend Bill Perkins’ wedding and joined Dan Bilzerian for a trip to the sea. And wrote,” My man is newly married! What an amazing weekend to be a part of.”

Dan Bilzerian is a famous Armenian-American poker player, businessman, and a social media influencer. Further, Alex De Minaur, the Australian tennis professional, after losing his spot in the quarterfinals against Cristian Garín, went for a trip with his fellow tennis ace Katie Boulter and other friends.

In addition, the Spaniards, Paula Badosa and Garbine Muguruza, also spent some relaxing days. Badosa visited Andronis Concept, a destination spa resort.

The former World No. 2 fell prey to the 2019 Wimbledon champion Simona Halep. Halep took down Badosa in straight sets of 6-1, and 6-2 in the round of 16 to meet Amanda Anisimova in the quarterfinals.

Whereas the former World No.1, after facing a first-round exit in Wimbledon, traveled to Finland and took a “Quick stop en Madrid.”

With the end of the grass-based Grand Slam, the anticipation around the fourth and last Grand Slam of the year has started building up. Also, as the Grand Slam has announced, to act host to the Russian and Belarusian tennis players, unlike Wimbledon, some nail-biting matches are guaranteed. As the reigning champion, Daniil Medvedev will be present to defend his title.
