Naomi Osaka took some time off from the tennis court after her Australian Open exit, but remains in touch with her fans through social media. After the defending champ lost her 3rd round match in the inaugural Slam of the season, she went back to the USA to recoup.
She traveled to Dallas for her boyfriend Cordae’s show. He was performing from his recently released album “From A Birds Eye View”. Osaka grabbed the opportunity and visited her friend Christopher Eubanks, who is competing in the Dallas Open while in town.

Eubanks is playing the qualifiers for the event. In his first match, he overcame a first set loss against compatriot J.J. Wolf, to eventually win the match in 3 sets. He will now face the qualifying top-seed and co-founder of PTPA with Novak Djokovic, Canadian Vasek Pospisil.
Osaka quickly posted her visit to Chris match on her official Instagram story, captioning “this dude got me over here watching tennis for fun.” Chris also showed his gratitude by thanking her for the support and visit to the match, he hashtagged his tweet “#Legend” for the 4-time Grand Slam champ.
Naomi Osaka upcoming events
After her Australian Open exit at the hands of Amanda Anisimova in a 3 set thriller, Naomi Osaka said that she wants to have more fun this year on the tour.
Recently, in an Instagram ask-me-anything, Naomi revealed that her WTA comeback will be at the Indian Wells competition.
The event starts on 10th March, in California and most top players will participate in it. After a rocky start to the 2022 season, Osaka will try to get back to winning ways and Indian Wells could provide her the boost for upcoming events.
Naomi Osaka has been very successful on the hard court, winning the US Open and Australian Open twice in her career. She is currently ranked 85th after failing to defend her Australian Open title, but she can move up again quickly with her class and quality.
