Princess Charlotte’s charming first appearance at the high-profile event had been greeted with great joy by the world, but her brother, Prince Louis, couldn’t make it. But Prince Louis seems to have spent considerable time preparing for his first appearance at Wimbledon, all set to leave a lasting impact.

Reports say the Princess of Wales had opened up to a member of All England Club’s youth program about Prince Louis’ whereabouts at the Wimbledon finals as he was nowhere to be seen.

Prince Louis’ deep longing to be present at the iconic event is not without reason – he has set his heart on becoming a Wimbledon ball boy. Recalling a conversation with Kate Middleton, 16-year-old ball boy Joel shared, “[Louis] tries to practice the standing and staying serious, like us. He tries to practice the stands and how we stand at the back of the court and next to the players.” as reported by Express News.

Though the young royalty wasn’t present at the match, the Duchess said that the young prince was “very upset” by not being there when she spoke to a member of All England Club’s youth program.

Prince Louis’s ambitions include more than wanting to be a ballboy. Earlier this year, he expressed his desire to be a fighter pilot like his dad. However, he may need to get used to the loud sounds that come with planes and jets. He and his family went to a military air show recently, where he was seen covering his ears as the aircraft flew overhead. But he quickly recovered and happily hopped on an ATV.

In a video shared by Sky News, Prince Louis looked thrilled and a bit scared as an aircraft flew over him. But he quickly got over it and even had fun riding an ATV. His adventurous spirit shows that he is eager to explore the world around him.
