Rafael Nadal‘s return to the court has delighted many tennis stars including Russia’s Anna Blinkova. While giving an interview at a press conference, this world’s number fifty tennis star expressed a surprising joy about Rafael Nadal’s coming back to the professional tournaments. Now after a pause due to health reasons, Nadal will be attending the upcoming Brisbane International. While Nadal’s coach and Carlos Moya seemed a little tensed about it, Nadal fans including Blinkova surely have high hopes.

Nadal’s hip surgery brought a stressful pause on his professional tennis career. He had to take another five months of rest post-surgery. It surely impacted his skills. However, Nadal’s comeback to tennis with the Brisbane International delighted Russian tennis star Anna Blinkova.

The world’s number fifty WTA star, Anna Blinkova recently attended the IS in Strasbourg and the reporters caught her being candid about many of the recent tennis events. When she was asked about her feelings regarding Rafael Nadal’s presence at the Brisbane International, Blinkova dropped some amazing compliments sharing her excitement with the fans. Blinkova said- “ ”Rafa’s return delights me. He has always been my favorite tennis player. I find him exceptional as a sportsman but also as a human being. The way he fights in every match, every match, his attitude. I have always watched his matches a lot, to be honest I admire him. So I try to follow his example.”

Blinkova seemed very hopeful when he revealed Nadal’s off-court personality. She commented-“Off the court, he is a very nice person. So, his return is very good news, it’s a superb image, he has brought so much to tennis”.

The world’s number three tennis star, Danii Medvedev is excited and nervous as he prepares to face off against the great Rafael Nadal in the Brisbane International 2024. While Nadal’s coach was nervous, Medvedev seemed nervous as he believed Nadal would be great on the court as usual.

Medvedev commented- ““Actually, with Rafa maybe I even had even less success than with Novak in a way. But we had some tight matches where I felt like I could win and maybe he got the edge in the end. So, for me it’s going to be a great challenge if I have to face him. I don’t know at the moment his shape, no one knows, and how he’s going to handle. But from what I saw, he seems to be doing good and that’s great for tennis,”

Anna Blinkova’s comment expressed that fans and colleagues are delighted that Rafael Nadal is finally coming back to the court. Adding Medvedev’s comment, fans are assured that Nadal will again mesmerize fans with outstanding tennis skills just like before.
