Although Gauff did not tweet about the match, she shared the same thought as Eubanks by retweeting his emotionally charged message.

It has been quite a day of rollercoaster emotions for both Gauff and Eubanks since the morning. The 19-year-old considers Eubanks to be her ‘big brother’ on the circuit. It was quite heartwarming to see the American players share such admiration for each other and also the rest of their compatriots.
