Some of the biggest names in the tennis realm have now been inclined towards a different racket game. Even the American tennis veteran Andre Agassi and his wife, Steffi Graf, have also succumbed to the pickleball craze. While gearing up for a popular pickleball tournament, the 8-time singles Grand Slam champion recently issued a major assertion about his German tennis star wife’s skills.
The second edition of the Pickleball Slam will feature the likes of previous participants, including some new additions like Steffi Graf. Speaking about his wife’s preparations for Pickleball Slam 2, Agassi recently hailed Graf for being a quick learner as she enters the realms of a totally disparate game.

Andre Agassi talks about his wife Steffi Graf’s preparations for Pickleball Slam 2
John McEnroe and Agassi are returning for the Pickleball Slam 2, as the second edition mixes things up with the addition of Steffi Graf and Maria Sharapova. While showcasing some glimpses of the tennis couple’s preparations, the official Instagram page of Pickleball Slam recently hailed Agassi and Graf.

In the social media post, the American tennis veteran talked about how he is amused to see his wife performing brilliantly in a totally disparate racket game. Agassi said, “Okay, here’s what I know, once I get Steff to focus on like doing it and get past the frustration of it just being something new and unfamiliar. Her learning curve is like the greatest German engineering you have ever seen.”
The 8-time singles Grand Slam champion added, “She’s like I’m going to get there, and it’s been epic to watch how quickly she has improved. And I just know she is going to give it everything and she is going to be on point. And she’s going to be the best of herself because that’s what she is very good at it, pushing herself to do the best.”
As she prepares for the event, the German former tennis player opens up about how her husband has helped her with some pickleball tips.

Graf on how her husband has given her some pickleball advice
Andre Agassi has already participated in the first edition of the Pickleball Slam and has vast experience in this new racket game. Emphasizing the same, Graf lauded her husband while also revealing that the Hall of Famer has also given her some pickleball advice and tips.
Graf said, “Now it has been a whole lot of fun, and you know with the experience he has had in the beginning of the year. And given me all this advice and tips, it’s been really fun to be out there on the court and trying to push into a totally different sport.”
