How and Where to Watch French Open 2022?

With the clay-court tour tournaments on the verge of ending, the tennis community is now heading towards the much-awaited French Open 2022. Set to kick off on the 22nd of May; the French Open is expected to be a treat for the entire tennis community. With the top players in place, this year’s French Open is expected to witness several young talents rise to victory.

Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal remain the hot favorites for the title. However, with back-to-back titles and still in good shape, Carlos Alcaraz has also marked his presence as one of the top contenders. And with 5 back-to-back WTA 1000 title wins, World No. 1 Iga Swiatek is the hot favorite on the women’s side.

With the qualifiers of the 2022 French Open already in progress, the main draw will be announced tomorrow, i.e. 19th of May, at 6.45 P.M local time. Analyzing the draw, the men’s and women’s singles draw will have 104 direct entries, 16 qualifiers, and 8 wildcard entries. Both of the draws will comprise 32 seeded players.

While the draw is set to be announced tomorrow and the tournament is scheduled to kick off on the 22nd, a question that is trending amongst tennis fans around the world is, ‘Where to watch the French Open 2022?’

The broadcaster’s list of French Open 2022

While fans residing in France can enjoy the live action on France TV and Prime video, other European countries can watch the epic on-court battles on Eurosport. Going on the western side of the world; the two American continents have several broadcasters who will provide live-action to their viewers.

Tennis fans in the United States of America can watch live action from Paris on NBC, Peacock TV, Tennis Channel, and Bally Sports. However, the Canadian fans will have to tune into Réseau des sports (RDS) or The Sports Network (TSN) to enjoy the live-action. Furthermore, Latin American countries can also enjoy watching the biggest names of the sport competing at the clay courts of Paris on ESPN.

Going ahead, fans in India can also enjoy the two action packed weeks of the French Open 2022 on SONY Ten. On the Southern side, Australian fans can enjoy the action at the Stade Roland Garros on Wide World of Sports. Whereas, fans in New Zealand can enjoy the action on Sky Sports.
