Emphasizing their relationship with their young tennis brand ambassadors, the Co-CEO, Marc Maurer brought to light the business strategies of the Swiss brand. In the process, Maurer also opened up about how Shelton and Świątek are strongly aligned with their company despite their drastic differences.

Roger Federer-backed brand’s Co-CEO talks about Ben Shelton and Iga Swiatek

The Co-CEOs of On, Martin Hoffmann, and Marc Maurer were recently featured in an interview with Bloomberg, in which they talked about the corporate strategies of their company. Maurer revealed how the Swiss brand always tries to create a balanced portfolio that reaches various different communities.

He said, “We can never rely from a profitability perspective or from a revenue perspective and growth perspective just on one athlete or area of business. We are trying to create a balanced portfolio that reaches into many different communities and that kinda shows who On is from all different aspects.”

Meanwhile, Maurer also mentioned the names of On’s two young brand ambassadors in tennis, Shelton and Świątek. He added, “Take Ben Shelton and Iga Świątek in tennis, very different characters, but ultimately both are very very strongly aligned with who we are.”

Shelton and Swiatek teamed up for the On tennis event

The Swiss sportswear brand previously organized a tennis event for the children in the youth development community, Kings County Tennis League. And it was the ‘big talents,’ Shelton and Swiatek who graced the tennis courts in Fort Greene Park where they shared some important insights about the game. After making a special guest appearance at the event, the tennis superstars also teamed up to play a “casual doubles” match with the kids at the academy. Shelton and Swiatek were later joined by none other than the former tennis ace, Roger Federer.
