23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams is currently in recovery mode after withdrawing from the Australian Open 2022. In the meantime, Williams is spending some precious time with her husband Alexis and daughter Olympia. They have been going on vacations together and Serena is enjoying her time off from the tennis court.
Meanwhile, young and talented Croatian tennis player, Borna Coric, is also recovering from his shoulder surgery. The Croatian was one of the first players to arrive in Australia and was hoping for a run at the Australian Open. Unfortunately, Coric had to pull out of the tournament at the last moment. Recently, he posted a photo on Instagram holding a glass of gin, and Serena had an interesting comment to make.

Serena Williams comments on Borna Coric’s post
Borna Coric was holding a glass of gin in his hand and wrote a funny caption on the post. He wrote, “When life gives you lemons, find someone who has gin.”
It seems like Serena Williams also like a glass of gin as she commented on Coric’s post, “I do like gin.”
Borna Coric then replied to that comment with another funny line. “Serena Williams then we are having gin night once we are back on tour,” Coric said.

It’s always fun to see two stars from the tennis world engage in such friendly banter. Hopefully, they will have that gin night soon as fans are hoping to see them back on the tour, in their natural habitat.

Both players are eying for a comeback
Borna Coric was in Australia to play the Grand Slam, but things didn’t go according to his plan. He failed to recover in time and decided to withdraw from the tournament. Earlier, the Croatian had a shoulder surgery in May that forced him to withdraw from the US Open 2021. Notably, Coric last played in March 2021 and hence, he will definitely look for a stronger comeback in 2022.
