In a recent revelation, a picture posted on Twitter suggests that the two have found solace in a new sport as they seem to be preparing themselves for the Olympics 2024. With the Australian Open set to start in a few days, the two made sure that they did not put much pressure on themselves.

Iga Swiatek and Hubert Hurkacz swap tennis for surfing

Who needs mixed doubles when you’ve got a surfboard? In a recent revelation, Iga Swiatek and Hubert Hurkacz were seen hitting the waves instead of serves near the Australian coast. With the Australian Open looming over in just a few days, the two seemed to be carefree as they enjoyed their time on the coasts while lightening their moods up ahead of a massive showdown.

Surf’s up and these two aren’t just riding waves, they’re diving headfirst into a whole new game. In a tweet shared on Instagram, the two Polish stars were seen enjoying surfing as if they were ready to give up on their professional tennis career and try their hands at surfing to get ready for the Paris Olympics in 2024.

Thus, with the Australian Open just about to start in a few days, Hubert Hurkacz and Iga Swiatek seem to not really worry much about the tournament as they spend some good time surfing.

Before the upcoming Australian Open, Iga Swiatek will be featuring in the United Cup to upskill her preparations for the Australian Open. Interestingly enough, just before the start of the tournament, she came up with a special message for everyone.

Playing in the United Cup for the second time in a row, Swiatek shared her excitement ahead of the tournament. She said that it was great to be a part of the team last year and hoped that this year, things would remain the same for her and she would enjoy it a lot.

“It is always exciting to be part of Team Poland,” Swiatek said. “I am happy to be playing this event a second time. Last year we had a lot of fun and this year hopefully it will be similar. This is my first time in Perth.”

Thus, Iga Swiatek, who will be featuring in the United Cup had a good time on the Australian coast with her doubles partner Hubert Hurkacz. As team Poland gets ready ahead of the tournament, Swiatek will be determined to land glory to her name.
