It was the semi-finals of the Billie Jean King Cup Finals 2021 and Russia’s Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova was up against the United States’ Danielle Rose Collins. Interestingly, something quite intriguing took place during the match because of which the fans are drawing links between the Russian and the World No.1 Novak Djokovic.
Notably, it was the American who kept her calm and made an incredible comeback against Pavlyuchenkova. She won the match in three sets and shocked the Russian.

Russia qualifies for the Billie Jean King Cup Finals 2021 even after Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova’s defeat

Even though Pavlyuchenkova lost against Collins, Russia managed to beat the United States in the other two matches to seal the spot in the finals. They will now face either Australia or Switzerland.
