The 23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams, shares a great relationship with her fellow tennis stars; some of them are her best friends off the court as well. She recently caught up with one of her best friends on the tour, Grigor Dimitrov, during a practice session at the US Open.

Notably, the former world no.1, Caroline Wozniacki, also shares a great bond with the American legend. On the men’s side, Bulgarian tennis star Dimitrov has been one of her best friends for a long time.

Serena Williams and Grigor Dimitrov share some light-hearted moments at the US Open 2022
Almost every player taking part in the tournament is currently preparing for the US Open and Serena is also doing the same. During one of her practice sessions, Dimitrov joined her as they shared some funny, light-hearted moments. You can see some of the pictures from their on-court interaction below.

Dimitrov is also a great friend of Venus as well. In a recent Instagram Q&A session, Venus talked about inviting two of her favorite people to dinner and i.e. Serena and Dimitrov. Once Dimitrov spoke about a hilarious story of him going to Serena’s house to do laundry, as they share a great bond. Meanwhile, Dimitrov will start his campaign at the US Open tomorrow against the American Steve Johnson.

Will Serena play her final singles match on Monday?
After the draw for the women’s singles matches was released, Serena found out that she will start her final US Open campaign against the Montenegrin, Danka Kovinic. It will be a tough match for the 23-time Grand Slam champion for sure, as nerves could play a big part in her last tournament.

At the same time, she will have the backing of her home crowd at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. So fans and organizers of the tournament will hope that Serena could win her first match, as the ticket sales on day 3 have also increased exponentially.

Meanwhile, if she manages to beat Kovinic in the first round, she could play the world no.2, Anett Kontaveit in the second round, which will be a substantial challenge for the American. Can Serena can go far in her last Grand Slam?
