The US Open 2021 is less than a week away and fans seem quite excited about the Grand Slam. Unfortunately, both Venus and Serena Williams are not playing in New York this year, and thus, the American fans have huge expectations from their new and young players.

The American tennis roster didn’t play well at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. In Venus and Serena Williams’ absence, the country failed to win a single medal in tennis for the first time in 101 years. In such a situation, who are the players who can deliver for the United States at the US Open 2021?

On the men’s side, John Isner, Reilly Opelka, and Taylor Fritz have a really good chance at the US Open 2021. Out of these three, all the eyes will be on Isner who has a great serve and can create problems for his opponents. His best performance at the US Open came in 2018 when he managed to reach the quarters. However, the former World No.8 would like to end on the winning side this year.

With Sofia Kenin’s withdrawal from the US Open 2021, all the eyes will be on Jennifer Brady, Sloane Stephens, Madison Keys, and Coco Gauff. Out of them, Gauff and Brady have the best chance to succeed at the upcoming major as both of them have played some exceptional tennis this year.
