The Organizer’s mismanagement regarding Indian Wells 2024’s tickets for canceled matches
Recently, one fan wrote on their X (formerly Twitter) that- “Even though only 13 points were played in last night’s evening session, @BNPPARIBASOPEN won’t do any refunds or exchanges for last night’s ticket holders.” Now both the organizers and the Spanish tennis maestro had confirmed their participation in the tournament.

Usually in such tournaments, after the draw, daily schedules are played to avoid confusion regarding which player will participate and which will not. After Nadal’s sudden cancelation, organizers announced- “Patrons who have purchased individual evening session tickets to Stadium 1 for Thursday, March 7 — directly from the BNP Paribas Open — may contact the box office regarding a refund”
Sadly, purchasers who bought their tickets from other sources than the tournament are not likely to receive any refund. This angered the fans as they paid a hefty amount to watch Rafael Nadal on the court.

This refund issue of the Indian Wells tournament has caused havoc on X (formerly Twiter). One fan expressed how the organizers are acting “anti-fan” and making the experience horrible for them.
They are so actively anti-fan, this year more than ever. Just so so bad on their part.
No make-rights for Rafa’s withdrawal either if you purchased online. More reserved seats than ever this year. Tommy Haas should be embarrassed

In a nutshell, people were disappointed and disgusted with the organizers.
That is some serious BS @BNPPARIBASOPEN!! If customers show up to my restaurant and I can’t serve them, I don’t make them pay! Fans spend a lot of $$ to see tennis matches—refund them!
