Tennis fans are something quite surprised to know that certain players have or are dating each other. That seems to be the case with Priscilla Hon and Maxime Cressy. In April 2023, the ATP star surprised the tennis world by announcing his relationship with Hon, but little did he know that he would be subjected to a lot of hate!

Back then, Cressy shared a photo with Hon on social media. However, he quickly had to delete it, as it attracted a lot of hate. It doesn’t seem the negative attention had much to do with his relationship. Instead, his bad performances and a long losing streak angered people. In fact, the ATP star has only 18 posts on Instagram with every single post’s comment section turned off! But getting back to his relationship, where did things start?

In 2019, Hon was spotted cheering for Cressy from the stands during the Australian Open. After that, they have been spotted together multiple times on social media. But most importantly, both Cressy and Hon have made their bond stronger with their common love for the sport.

However, despite the initial confirmation of their relationship, their lack of public appearances together since last year has fueled speculation about the status of their relationship. Are they still together?

So far, there isn’t any information available on whether they are still together. But what we do know is that Cressy and Hon do not follow each other on Instagram. Interestingly, Hon still follows Cressy’s mother, Leslie, and his father, Gerard.

Maxime Cressy & Priscilla Hon: Tennis will be their first love

Talking about similarities, Maxime Cressy is originally from Paris, France, but now lives in California. On the other hand, Priscilla Hon was born to Chinese parents who later immigrated to Australia from Hong Kong. So, both of them have varied backgrounds. Apart from that, tennis is their first love. What brought them into this beautiful sport?

In 2020, Cressy said, “I love tennis because I’m really competitive and I’ve played tennis my whole life…I just love my serve and volley game and I love being aggressive. And I’m also very, very competitive…” Cressy also expressed his passion for tennis, citing the opportunity to travel the world and compete at a high level as a major draw.

Why does Hon love tennis though? “I love what it has brought me. I was home-schooled, so it brought me a lot of lifelong friendships. And travel as well….The opportunities for me have been the best part for me,” said Priscilla Hon in 2023. “And travel as well. I’ve been able to travel from 12 years old. The opportunities for me have been the best part for me.”

Then again, when both of them were once asked to name the qualities which they admire the most as human beings, Hon said, “Loyalty. Generous. And humble.” Maxime Cressy answered, “Humble attitude and very kind…” These answers are a clear depiction of what really brought these two tennis stars closer to each other. Whether they are together is not known, but we do know that they shared a strong connection at some point.
