The Madrid Open had a thrilling end with the likes of Andrey Rublev and Iga Swiatek claiming the top honors. The action moves to Italy where the top players will battle out at the Italian Open. Ahead of the hectic schedule, the likes of Coco Gauff, Ben Shelton, and Chris Eubanks decided to chill out at a special place.

The trio is the next generation of American stars grinding it out on the tour. Apart from their busy schedules, they often spend time with each other and share a close bond. One such glimpse was shared by Coco Gauff, who took to her official Instagram handle and shared a story of the trio enjoying their time out in an Escape Room. Along with them, Eubanks’ girlfriend was also present.

Sharing their picture together, Gauff wrote, “escape room goats,” along with a quadruple of goat emojis, one for each one of them. A while later, Shelton shared Gauff’s story on his official Instagram handle. However, this American tradition wasn’t the first time Gauff, Shelton, and Eubanks were performing. They did the same in Melbourne and Indian Wells.

When Ben Shelton surprised Coco Gauff in an Escape Room

Shelton, Gauff, and Eubanks have been among the most popular tennis stars on their respective tours currently. One of the reasons is that they often perform activities and training together. Earlier this year, Coco Gauff explained how they had their time out at Escape Rooms in Melbourne and Miami in which Shelton also surprised Gauff.

She said, “Okay, so we’ve done two escape rooms, our little group, which is me, Anna, which is Chris’ girlfriend, and Ben. We did one in Melbourne, and definitely Ben was the strongest, I would say that day, which was surprising because we all thought he was going to suck, but he was pretty good, and then we did another one in Indian Wells, and I think me and Anna was the strongest.”

Further, Gauff went on to add, “Ben was awful that day. And then Chris was okay. So, I think if you do the averages, I would say Chris is the worst on average. Then Ben is hit or miss. So we need to do a third one to see if it was if lightning strikes twice.”

Escape Room has gone on to attain massive popularity in the US. As a result, the trio of tennis stars have kept up with the trend to enthrall their fanbase. However, they’ll look to switch their focus on the Italian Open, which has begun with the qualifiers today.
