In concerning news for both participants and fans, there is an 80% chance of rain on day 4 in Madrid, i.e., April 27. According to AccuWeather‘s weather forecast, the likelihood of a few showers is very high during the day. Even the renowned tennis journalist Jose Morgado recently shared glimpses of the weather conditions in Madrid. He tweeted, “About to leave the hotel on my way to the club but it’s raining in Madrid. We won’t have much play outside the three main courts (all have roofs) in these first hours…”

In the event of rain, the likes of Nadal, Gauff, Sinner, and other participants will have to wait for the weather conditions to improve. Amidst all the concerns surrounding the weather conditions in Madrid, Morgado has now provided a positive update for fans. He stated, “Play is starting on the outside courts. Only 30 minutes later than scheduled. Forecast is good for the rest of the day.”
