Martina Navratilova first picked the German, Alexander Zverev from the list of several rising stars of the game as the best player who’s yet to win a Grand Slam. But she quickly changed her tune to the Italian stating Jannik Sinner would perhaps topple all of them. Here’s what she said in the interview to Tennis Channel. “So for me, it’s Zverev because of the body of work and the opportunities he has had. When she was asked about other players on the list like Casper Ruud. She replied by saying that Ruud doesn’t have a special weapon to trouble his in-form opponents. She believes Sinner and Zverev could bring this big game to the table, which the Norwegian has failed to do so far in his career. Navratilova added, “If I’m playing well, I’m not gonna lose to Ruud. But if I’m playing well, I could still lose to Sinner or even Zverev.”
