Going on the men’s side, Novak Djokovic is one of the most prominent stars who has been vocal about mental health for a long time. Considering his interest in mental health, Andreescu considered him as the leading option on the men’s side. “I know that Novak Djokovic talks a lot about mental health. I have listened to a lot of his interviews. I have spoken to him a little bit but not specifically about mental health…,” she further said.

As mentioned by Andreescu, the two haven’t conversed much with each other. However, despite being a fan girl of Djokovic, Andreescu hoped to have a conversation with the legendary Serb about mental health rather than tennis. Going ahead in the conversation, she ended by asserting, “…Hopefully I can talk to him more about it. We can bounce ideas off of each other and maybe start something, it will be cool.”
