Djokovic talks about the strikingly clear bias of the sporting fraternity
The Serbian tennis legend now has 24 Grand Slam titles. Such a feat, even legendary players like Serena Williams and Roger Federer have fallen just short of. Nonetheless, the popularity of Djokovic is far lower than these players.
Pointing out this fact, he stated while talking to the Serbian media that the bias is because of his nationality. If he was from the West, he would have been glorified in the sporting realm a long time ago. Crowd favor has never been the Serb’s winning suit.
