A lot has changed since we last saw Naomi Osaka in action. The Japanese tennis star last played at the Toray Pan Pacific Open in September 2022. Since then, she has given birth to her first child and has been away from the tennis scene completely. However, Osaka is aiming to make a comeback next year as she is aiming to get back to her best. Now, she has received help from a familiar face, who is none other than Nick Kyrgios as he extended support to Osaka ahead of her return.
The Australian star himself is recovering from his injuries. Kyrgios too is on the path of making a return during the early part of the 2024 season. Here’s what he said about Osaka.

Kyrgios wrote in his Instagram story, “The best part of journey is realising that we can all learn something from someone. Will be following and supporting your comeback @naomiosaka!! Happy to help anytime. The whole Kyrgios team is behind you!”
Like Osaka, Kyrgios has also missed almost the entire 2023 season. He played in just one tournament in Stuttgart, losing in the opening round. He’ll be determined to make a strong return once he gets back to full fitness.
With a similar goal in mind, Kyrgios and Osaka are helping each other in the practice sessions. The two share a good bond on and off the court. The Australian star even made a candid confession about Osaka.

Kyrgios gets floored by Osaka’s fashion sense
The former Wimbledon finalist, Kyrgios, is one of the most fashionable guys on the tour. However, he feels that Osaka upscales him as far as fashion sense is concerned.
Talking about this, he said, “Yeah, she does upscale me in the fashion department. I just went into a hoodie and some Jordans. Not much; she’s very fashionable. And you know, she’s done that, you know, outside of the tennis world. She’s affected so many other brands.”
