After the clash with Alcaraz, Rafa went on to talk highly about his son. The 22-time grand slam champion also said that his son has become his inspiration and talked about his antics in the arena. For now, he has enamored Ayan Broomfield as well.

Tiafoe’s girlfriend Ayan Broomfield is in awe of Rafael Nadal’s toddler son

Rafael Nadal Junior was in the stands cheering his father on for the Netflix Slam in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas. The clash between the two Spaniards was a great event, but Rafa Jr. managed to take the attention of the two players several times in between. Even Frances Tiafoe’s girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, could not help but be enamored by the one-year-old.

Sometime during a break, the son of the King of the Clay was whacking at a tennis ball with a tiny racket meant for someone of his frame. The moment took over social media and also Broomfield. She shared a video of the moment on her Instagram story with the caption, “Rafael Nadal Jr. was the highlight of the event hands down”.

As the tennis world finds itself enamored by Rafa Jr, Senior Rafael Nadal finds himself inspired by his son. During his clash, he talked about how he finds himself motivated for his son and how his antics were different during the event.

Watching his son was a “great inspiration” for Rafa

Although Nadal lost the clash with Alcaraz, he carried the same fighting spirit he possessed for his 22 grand slam titles. During the clash, Rafa explained that he has now found inspiration in his son. “It’s great. Watching him there is a great inspiration.. doesn’t matter if he doesn’t know anything.” Along with the heartwarming comment about his son, Nadal also said that he was surprised by his behavior. 

When the interviewer said that he was behaving well, Nadal said, “For the moment. He likes to move around”. Despite fighting for two decades on court, Nadal has found a way to keep the fire burning. It is burning even brighter with his son in tow, which means we might see the Spanish Bull in all his glory in the Indian Wells Masters
