Netflix Springs Up a Big Surprise by Teasing Two Hall of Famers to Feature in Its Much-Awaited Tennis Documentary

Netflix recently released its official trailer for “Break Point”. The show is from the makers of its F1 predecessor- Drive to Survive, which instantly became a fan favorite. After a glorious era of the biggest names in tennis, 2022 was a roller-coaster for fans. With both Roger Federer and Serena Williams announcing their retirements, the question of “who’s next” is completely valid. The question so far remains unanswered, and that is what “Break Point” will seek to address.
Talking about some of the best tennis players who are on their way to being the next big thing- Netflix has presented an account of their personal lives. The docu-series takes you across what the players face, trying to balance their busy schedules, personal lives, and fan expectations. Maria Sharapova and Andy Roddick provide valuable insight throughout the episodes of Break Point. The series will feature 10 episodes in total. The first five will premiere on Jan. 13, with the latter half releasing this summer.

The series captured the players’ on and off court lives during the ATP Tour 2022 and the Hologic WTA Tour in the same season. The trailer has been an instant hit right after it was posted on YouTube, as the interviewers get up close and personal with the featured tennis stars. It showcases that the pressure of becoming the next big thing gets to all of them. Moreover, it is the journey that gets more exhausting than ever. The intensity of determination ultimately channels into insane amounts of physical training.
