The ATP Finals mayhem
The 2022 Wimbledon Championships runner-up failed to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals this season. However, if Kyrgios had won his Wimbledon final just like the champion Novak Djokovic, he would have, for sure, secured a position in both categories of the tournament. As it didn’t happen, the former World No.13 had to settle for a place in the doubles category. He teamed up with his fellow Australian Open doubles champion, Thanasi Kokkinakis. However, the Aussie duo failed to make it to the semifinals after they lost two of their three round-robin matches in Turin, Italy.
