The previous season’s ATP Paris Masters featured one of the most heated matches between Stan Wawrinka and Holger Rune, as a lot of words were exchanged. It was the Danish tennis player who prevailed in their first meeting on the men’s circuit. After that match, Wawrinka was apparently not impressed with the ward of Serena Williams‘ former coach and gave him some blunt advice.

Unfortunately, another unpleasant exchange was witnessed between the two as Rune tried to bring to light their previous season’s drama. After their first meeting on the ATP Tour, Stan Wawrinka had some blunt advice for the 19-year-old player who was really loud at the Paris Masters. The Swiss tennis legend told him “to stop acting like a baby,” after getting knocked out of the tournament. And the Danish tennis player hasn’t forgotten about their heated conversation.

Rune made it clear during their second meeting at the Indian Wells Masters, where he faced an early-round defeat against the former French Open champion. After the match, Rune asked him, “do you have anything to say to me now,” as he tried to bring their previous season’s drama.

Their unpleasant exchange was also witnessed by the fans when the official Instagram page of Tennis TV posted a video clip of the same. The entire tennis community flocked to the comments section to criticize the 19-year-old ATP player for his disrespectful behavior and sportsmanship.
