As the German was going in a wheelchair into the dressing room, the Spaniard went with him to check on him. Then, they both came out on the court, as we saw Zverev on crutches. Meanwhile, many fans and former players reacted to Zverev’s injury.

Rafael Nadal’s academy also put a tweet and wished for the speedy recovery of Zverev, “Get well soon, @AlexZverev!“

Nadal reaches the final of the French Open
Meanwhile, Nadal reaches yet another Roland Garros final. Although it was a tragic end to the match, the 13-time champion battled hard throughout the match, which lasted 3 hours and 13 minutes. The second set was poised to go to another tie breaker when Zverev retired; the final result was 7-6 6-6. In the final, Nadal will play either Casper Ruud or Marin Cilic.
