Stefanos Tsitsipas admits to facing difficulties while making changes

It hasn’t been the best of years for Stefanos Tsitsipas on the tennis front. He has had an inconsistent run of form that has significantly affected him this year. Amid this, he had a major rejig in his coaching staff, as he separated from his father as his coach. However, the Greek star admits that the transition period hasn’t been smooth.

During an interview at the tournament, the Greek said, “I’m not very sure about change in most occasions when I have to make changes in my team. Changes are very difficult to face. When I make them, they usually come from my inner instinct, and most of them are quite accurate. The last few years have been tough; I was holding back emotions and couldn’t express them, but I think the time to make that change in my team has come. I also want to develop my relationship with my father, for it to improve off the tennis courts.”
