It was the Mylan WTT Smash Hits in 2015. It is an all-star charity tennis event co-hosted by Billie Jean King and Sir Elton John. The likes of Andre Agassi, Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf, and others participated in the charity event that year. Further, the event was organized to support the Elton John AIDS Foundation and a local AIDS charity in each market it visits.

Team Billie Jean King comprised Agassi, Graf, James Blake, and Tracy Austin. On the other hand, Team Elton John had Andy Roddick, Navratilova, Lindsay Davenport, and Mardy Fish in his team. Team Elton John eventually went on to defeat Team Billie Jean King 17-11. However, an interesting incident occurred during one of the matches.

Martina Navratilova showed her hilarious side

During the mixed doubles encounter which had Agassi and Graf on one side and Navratilova and Fish on the other, an incident caught everyone’s eyes. Agassi was at his aggressive best and he smashed one of the forehands right at Fish’s chest. The latter had little time to react as he turned backward.

Subsequently, Elton John, who witnessed the action from the stands, laughed and found it funny. It invited a sarcastic jibe from Fish, who said, “This is not quite as funny as Elton thinks!”
