Nick Kyrgios is living his dream at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships. Earlier this year, he had skipped the French Open to concentrate on the grass-court season that lay ahead. The move has seemed to pay off, as Kyrgios has produced his best result at Grand Slam tournaments. Yesterday, he got the better of Chile’s Cristian Garin to advance into the semi-finals of Wimbledon.

However, before the match, Kyrgios had off-court controversies to deal with. The 27-year-old was accused of domestic abuse by one of his ex-girlfriends. Nonetheless, Kyrgios managed to keep his concentration to get the better of his Chilean opponent. Recently, Kyrgios’ ex-girlfriend, Ajla Tomljanovic was asked to comment on this controversy surrounding him. Subsequently, Tomljanovic vented out her frustration at the media for these questions.

After her quarter-final defeat against Elena Rybakina, Tomljanovic took to Twitter to express her unhappiness about the questions related to Kyrgios’ domestic abuse charges. She said, “Quite disappointing that after almost 2 hours of playing my quarterfinals that that was the first question the journalist chose to ask me, and never proceeded to ask anything match related. Glad to see headlines mostly about that now. Do better.”
