A sports blogger shared a picture from a conference that declared Roger Federer the GOAT over stars like Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic.

This is not the only time Novak Djokovic has been snubbed for the GOAT title over Roger Federer. The ‘X’ account of Liverpool FC asked its players about their pick for the tennis GOAT, and very few replied with Djokovic’s name.

The goat debate is one that has heated up quite a bit in recent times. Most sports around the world see masses of fans engage in the conversation, and we now even see conferences for such debates. Recently, a tennis blogger shared their journey at the Tennis History Conference in Wimbledon. They shared a picture of a segment that talked about the debate over the greatest player.

“Just at the Tennis History Conference at Wimbledon listening to a talk on the goat debate. Here’s the criteria for inclusion: 👇@elena_tsourdi,” they wrote as they shared the criteria. Many aspects, such as numerical achievements, economic pulling power, competition, and aestheticism, were considered. The account shared the picture, which showed the final slide and declared the Swiss Maestro as the GOAT, with Serena Williams in the lead. 

Djokovic was seen as fourth on the list after Martina Navratilova. Many fans felt incredulous upon looking at the picture. However, this is not the only time Djokovic has been snubbed for the GOAT title.

Djokovic snubbed by Liverpool FC

In a video posted by Premier League club Liverpool FC earlier this year, the players were asked to select the people who had the most influence on them. The players, however, might be from any sport. Rafael Nadal received one vote, while Federer received two. Serena Williams was also placed on the list, thanks to Virgil Van Dijk. The surprise came when no one chose Novak Djokovic, the 24-time Grand Slam winner.
