Her alleged relationship with Grigor Dimitrov was the talk of the town in 2013. However, she never said anything about it. But when the couple broke up, she chose a unique way to stay away from him.

Interestingly, she did it by literally staying in a different country altogether.

Serena Williams detailed coping with her breakup from Dimitrov

The Bulgarian tennis player was training with the former world no. 1 when the dating rumors started. However, Williams never accepted it. But in 2013, during an interview, she talked about her reason for staying in Paris for 18 months. She stated, “I lost in the first round in the French Open last year, and I just decided to stay.”

Additionally, without naming anyone, she said, “No, I had a bad breakup, and I just didn’t want to be in the same country as the guy.”

On the other hand, the Reddit co-founder responded to Drake’s remarks by tweeting about his unconditional support for the women in his life. Through a recent Twitter post, he shared an adorable picture of hanging out with his daughter Olympia, and his pet dog, Adora. The caption, ‘Winning’, says it all about the carefree attitude of Williams’ husband.
