It is definitely not a good time for Serena Williams’ former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, as he recently brooked controversy for his comment defending Novak Djokovic and indirectly throwing shade at Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

This all started when the former tennis Nike director opened up on how controversies surrounding Novak Djokovic kept brands from investing in him, unlike Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal who had unblemished tennis careers with little to no controversies. Mouratoglou came to Djokovic’s defense and made the ‘fedal’ fans really angry.

Mouratoglou encountered one such fan on social media and gave him a polite yet solid reply. But what did the ‘fedal’ fan say?

Patrick Mouratoglou slammed for his statement 

Recently, the 23-time Grand Slam champion‘s ex-coach took to his Twitter account to clap back at a fan who insulted him for his take on the controversial topic.

The French tennis coach recently shared a statement regarding the subtle play of imperfections and values that makes a person human. Alluding to Djokovic, he emphasized that tennis stars are humans, not God.

He wrote, “Being a good person doesn’t mean being perfect. Values are essential as drivers to our lives. On the other hand, we also have to accept our imperfections. We are humans not gods.”

To which a ‘fedal’ fan reacted angrily and in an impolite manner.

Seeing the Twitter user’s nasty comment, the 52-year-old responded with his politeness. He wrote, “Very elegant. Congratulations.”

The former coach of Serena Williams is comfortable with imperfections being the essence of a human being.

Just a few days back, the tennis coach revealed some qualities that made him different from other coaches. He mentioned that the tennis players he is training with are his gods. Additionally, he also talked about carrying good energy with the tennis players and keeping them  motivated. He also talked about sharing a great connection with the tennis players.
