Former tennis champ Steffi Graf recently revealed how Andre Agassi impressed her with his jorts. Agassi is well known for his phenomenal presence on the court. However, there is no doubt that he was also quite stylish. Now, as the couple is set to join in on the Pickleball scene, they take some time to remember the past.

Jorts is one of the most complicated pieces of fashion that has gone through hate and love simultaneously. While some absolutely love the idea, others often can’t fathom the very existence of such a thing.

Steffi Graf on the jorts appeal of Andre Agassi 

It seems like Andre Agassi’s influence extended way beyond the court. Amidst the rallies and aces, Agassi managed to catch the eye of none other than his present wife, Steffi Graf. Even Graf admits that Agassi has a fashion sense that was quite ahead of its time.

Steffi Graf, with a fond reminiscence, shared: “Andre was totally ahead of his time with the jorts. I loved them. I thought that was the coolest thing out there.” Her admiration for Agassi’s jorts wasn’t just a passing fancy. It was a genuine appreciation for the innovative fashion choice.

She then said: “I mean, you know I love fashion and seeing the boundaries pushed and something so innovative, I thought it was super cool.” Her enthusiasm for pushing fashion boundaries and recognizing innovation provides insight into why Agassi’s jorts became a symbol of his distinctive style.

In a delightful event for the retired champions seeking new avenues, Agassi and Graf are gearing up for a fresh chapter. Especially on the Pickleball courts. Despite hanging up their tennis rackets, the couple finds themselves lured into the playful world of Pickleball.

Competing as a formidable duo, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf are set to face off against the dynamic pairing of John McEnroe and Maria Sharapova. This will happen in the upcoming Pickleball Slam 2. The unexpected shift from Grand Slam to Pickleball showdowns won’t only add a dash of excitement to their post-tennis journey but also showcase their enduring love for the game.
