People are accustomed to seeing Novak Djokovic’s name in articles about titles and records. But of late, the Serbian tennis superstar has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Djokovic, who is unvaccinated, was deported from Down Under, a few days ahead of the Australian Open 2022. This came as a shock to his fans and followers, who were hoping to see him lift the trophy at Melbourne Park for the 10th time.
The way his visa debacle unfolded has stirred things up quite a lot. While some people agreed with the Australian Government, some protested that Djokovic was merely falling victim to a political crossfire.
