Even the tennis world was represented at that event as the likes of Serena Williams and Roger Federer attended the grand extravaganza. However, the two disappointed their fans by not posing together in front of the camera. Hours after this bummer, the duo has some exciting news surrounding them.
Both Federer and Williams are among the GOATs of the sport and have a massive fanbase worldwide. Their new collaboration will surely stir up excitement.

After not catching up at the Oscars, the Swiss maestro and American legend’s fans were disappointed to see their favorite stars not posing together for the camera. However, they are soon set to feature together on the cover of TopSpin 2k25. It is a new edition of the TopSpin franchise, something that the fans have been eagerly waiting for.
TopSpin 2k25 will drop on April 26 for the PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Further, this is the third time that Federer is featured on the cover of TopSpin whereas Williams is featuring for the second time.

The two retired in 2022 and left a huge void in the tennis world. While their absence affected other tournaments, the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation’s President, Angelo Binaghi, revealed how the Italian Open remained unaffected by it.

Federer and Williams’ absence didn’t haunt the Italian Open
Last year the Italian Open, one of the premier clay-court tournaments, drew in massive crowds. Despite the big names like Federer and Williams missing, the tournament was a big success.

During an interview, Binaghi said, “The passion of the crowd now goes beyond the individual presences of the best players on the Tour. Of course, probably Nadal’s participation would have given a further boost to the box office. And the same would have guaranteed, during the tournament, a path extended by Jannik Sinner.”
Despite this claim, fans have duly missed watching Williams and Federer in action. However, the two are enjoying their retirement life and spending quality time with their families.
