Currently, Rafael Nadal is the talk of the town due to his impending fatherhood. According to various sources, Nadal’s wife, Maria Francisca Perello, is currently expecting a baby and some of the members of their family already know about the news. 

Now it seems like the whole world knows about the news, as it is spreading like a wildfire. Former American tennis player Chris Evert also received the good news as she posted a congratulatory message on social media.

Chris Evert congratulates Rafael Nadal

Earlier, the 18-time Grand Slam winner Chris Evert took to Twitter and wrote, “What a lucky kid!!!”

Notably, Evert reacted to a Twitter feed, where a fan said that Nadal confirmed the news of becoming a father after his practice session. Also, the Spaniard posed for a few photos with fans afterward and some people congratulated him as well.

In 2019, Nadal and Perello tied the knot after dating for many years. Almost after three years, the pair is expecting their first child. However, we still did not get any confirmation from either Nadal or Perello. In the past, they mostly kept their relationships private, as this is probably another thing they want to keep private.

Certainly, it has been a fantastic year for the great Spaniard both on and off the field. Earlier in the summer, Nadal came back to the Australian Open after a long layoff from his foot injury. Moreover, he shocked everyone after winning the Australian Open in an incredible way. Then, he was on a 20-match winning streak, which came to an end in the Indian Wells final at the hands of Taylor Fritz.

After that, he had another injury concern with his rib, as he missed the start of the clay-court season. His return to the Madrid Open did not go as planned, as he lost in the quarter-final. In the Italian Open, he aggravated his foot injury during his round of 16 match against Denis Shapovalov.

Before the start of the French Open, many experts did not give him a chance to win the French Open, mainly because of his injury. However, he proved everyone wrong and won the Grand Slam event for the 14th time in his career, despite all the injury concerns.

Now, fans are hoping to see him at Wimbledon as well, as he has a great chance of winning three back-to-back Grand Slam titles, for the first time in his career.
