After the Indian Wells, Berrettini had surgery on his right hand, which forced him out of court for a couple of months. Moreover, he missed the French Open as well. However, missing Wimbledon will probably hurt him even more. It’s because he was the finalist last year and was looking to go one step further in the competition.
Now, he has to wait for next year to fulfill his dream at the Wimbledon Championships.
