Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal have truly hit it out of the park with their Olympic achievements! However, Novak Djokovic is yet to do so. A bronze medal is his best achievement in the Games even during his best year. Amid a troublesome period, the Djoker is in trouble. As Williams’ former coach delves into his possibilities in the upcoming Games, she is unsure of what he will achieve.

Recently, while talking about the Olympics in the recent episode of Racquet’s Rennae Stubbs podcast, she talked about how Rafa and Williams have wreaked havoc on the court. She started with Nadal, who has won the gold medal twice. She also talked about how the 23-time Grand Slam champion has been the goat when it comes to the Olympics, given she has won four.

However, her comments for the Djoker were not on the same line. “What the hell? Novak hasn’t even won a tournament his year Sam. What is going on? Has he been leading up to this moment?” No lies there as Djokovic has stumbled this season. Although he is reaching the final stages of various tournaments, he has shown trouble in keeping up with the talent on the ATP Tour.

Rennae Stubbs is particularly well-known for his criticism of Novak Djokovic, often weighing in on the tennis player’s exploits and scandals. Her criticisms are a part of her more general tennis assessment, in which she raises the question of whether Djokovic can finish the Olympics strongly considering his lack of victories this season. She had earlier addressed a fan’s criticism of her comments regarding Djokovic’s Wimbledon entry.

With delight, Stubbs had just announced Djokovic’s inclusion, writing, “Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon draw.” A fan, displeased with her approach, retorted, “The GOAT @DjokerNole doesn’t need your approval to play or be included in the 2024 @wimbledon’s draw. Your opinion is completely irrelevant.” Stubbs responded with humor, “I never said he needed my permission 😂😂 I think it’s unbelievable what he’s doing! U fans are hilarious. 😂”

Despite the confusion, the fan persisted in the discussion, as Stubbs turned out to be a crisis for the Serb. On the other hand, the biggest question is what are the chances that the Serb, might grab his first gold this Olympics.

Novak Djokovic is ready to strike gold this Olympics

Following his loss to Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final, Djokovic will be itching to get back to winning ways at Paris 2024. Currently ranked second behind Italy’s Jannik Sinner, the 37-year-old maintains the record for the most weeks as number one. Having already achieved a record 24 Grand Slam victories, the Olympics represent the final frontier that the Serbian needs to overcome.
