The stage is all set for the upcoming Pickleball Slam 2 and some of the most legendary names in tennis will be going head to head against each other to lay their hands on the coveted $1 million prize pool. Andre Agassi and John McEnroe, who have featured in the previous edition of the slam as well will now be joined by tennis beauties Maria Sharapova and Steffi Graf.

That being said, one question has started coming to the minds of the fans: Being a couple, will the fans see Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf lining up together for the upcoming Pickleball Slam 2?

As things stand, Andre Agassi will indeed be teaming up with Steffi Graf for the upcoming Pickleball Slam 2. In an interview, he suggested that after the two started to play it together, they really started to enjoy it. Not only this, he also added that there’s no one better than Steffi who could have taken the charge ahead.

While revealing the best thing about Pickleball, he suggested that one of the best things about this game is that people from any age group can come and get their hands on this game.

“After we played, it became more about how much enjoyment we’ve gotten from it,” Agassi said. “I couldn’t think of anything better than including my wife. We have gotten so into it. We exercise. It’s a great outlet. You can get people together from all different levels and they engage with it and improve quickly. It’s a blast. It’s a blow of calories. What else can you do at 53 years old that you can actually say you’re getting better at?”

Thus, ahead of the upcoming Pickleball Slam, Andre Agassi will be joining hands with his wife Steffi Graf as they will be taking on the deadly duo of Maria Sharapova and John McEnroe to lay their hands on the coveted $1 million prize pool.

Just days ahead of the start of the tournament, Andre Agassi came ahead and made a bold statement as he confirmed that he was eyeing the title and nothing else.

In the first season of the Pickleball slam, Andre Agassi teamed up with Andy Roddick as they faced John McEnroe and Michael Chang. In an interesting match that followed, it was Andre Agassi and Andy Roddick’s turn to celebrate the victory as they defeated McEnroe and Chang.

Coming into the new season Agassi has the same confidence that he will be able to repeat history and defeat McEnroe yet again. Not only this, Agassi, in an interview said that he has confidence that he could beat him yet again. “John’s always fun to beat up on,” said Agassi.
