Kyrgios and de Minaur were included in Australia’s squad which was announced last week. However, the two are dealing with respective injuries which have forced them to sit out for Australia’s next Davis Cup tie.

“Both are disappointed”: Lleyton Hewitt
“When we announced the team earlier in the week we were hopeful they both would be healthy to play,” Australia captain Hewitt said. “As seen in Acapulco during the week Alex’s abdominal injury has flared up. Nick has a wrist complaint, and they need to rest and focus on their recovery.”
“Both are disappointed, both guys love playing in the team environment and playing for Australia. It’s not an easy decision. However, at the end of the day, you have got to go off the medical advice,” Hewitt added.
