Is Richard Gasquet in doubt for the Australian Open yet again?

The winner of 15 titles on the ATP Tour spoke on his sad post and that the fact he will be undergoing isolation for the third time in two seasons. Speaking of his association with the Australian Open, he has reached the fourth round, which has been his best result over the years.

He issued a statement on social media that stated, “Hello everyone! I, unfortunately, tested positive for Covid this morning in Australia, no symptoms,” Gasquet wrote on Twitter. “We follow the protocol and let’s go for a week of isolation. 3rd time in 2 years.”

It’s nice to see that the Frenchman taking it well. However, it would be really sad if he doesn’t make it in time as he had missed the Australian Open last year too. In fact, he has not played in Melbourne since the 2018 season.
