What did Kanye West have to say about LeBron James?

As per the lyrics, West apparently mentions James’ kids as well. He spoke about them being sent to a school like Sierra Canyon, and not the I Promise School a part of the LeBron James Family Foundation. However, James is not mentioned in the track directly, just the name of the school.

The school is a proud initiative by James and the foundation in his hometown Akron, which helps kids who are falling behind and might be out of the system, eventually. Over the years, the foundation has worked with thousands of kids, coming up with various programs and even helping during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The lyrics West apparently garnered a mixed pool of reactions. Many fans were left confused over the words, wondering why West decided to use them. Some even spoke about James’ mention being the reason why the track is unreleased.

The whole thing, however, might not even be aimed at James. As per a podcast following West’s discography, he started the Yeezy Christian Academy, which even his kids attended. Now, though, his kids are apparently returning to Sierra Canyon.

Has Kanye West previously taken a dig at James?

Reports add James was mentioned in a 2016 track by West named Facts. It was a take on James’ relation with the brand Nike. Later, though, West stated that it was in no way a negative comment made towards the four-time NBA champion. The internet has been debating over CLB and Donda since the former was released, many picking their favorite as well.

James, at his end, is preparing for the Lakers season this year. He is relatively active on social media, providing fans with necessary updates. As of now, James is yet to comment or react to the lyrics in any way. The NBA veteran is also vacationing in Italy right now, his stories full of the ocean and other activities he has been enjoying.
