In a league like the NBA which has seen so many fantastic players, standing out from the rest can be tough. But some players like LeBron James and Michael Jordan end up defining a decade of basketball with their domination and their ability to lead their teams to championships.

While the pressure on the likes of Bron and MJ has always been massive, they have always managed to silence their critics and their haters with their incredible performances on the basketball court. With multiple MVP trophies and championships, the duo rightly are a constant feature in the GOAT conversations.

Damian Lillard chooses Michael Jordan as his GOAT

NBA players generally aren’t the most vocal in social media. But Damian Lillard certainly doesn’t fall in the same category. Often replying to his fans tweets and participating in multiple sports debates, Lillard certainly isn’t afraid to put forth his opinions.

This time ‘Dame Dolla’ spoke up about who he considers as the Greatest of All time in the NBA. Lillard had a simple answer for the same, Michael Jordan.

With 6 championships, 6 Finals MVPs and 5 MVP trophies, it is easy to see why players often consider Jordan as perhaps the best to play the game. But apart from his accolades it is his attitude to be aggressive and dominate which played a big role in his success.

While players like Kobe Bryant did have a similar play style, he did not have so many individual accolades. The closest however who has come to Jordan is arguably LeBron James. With 4 NBA championships, 4 MVP trophies and 4 Finals MVP trophies, ‘the King’ is chasing Jordan.

Despite being 36-years-old, Bron is still dominant as ever. With a team surrounded by talented players, LBJ certainly has a great chance to challenge for a title yet again and move a step closer to catch MJ’s record of six titles.
