The 1984 NBA draft is considered by many as the greatest in history. Some of the best players in NBA history were drafted in 1984, such as Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley. Jordan and Barkley were drafted two picks apart and were close friends despite being picked by different teams. However, they’re not very close anymore and haven’t been in contact lately.
Chicago Bulls drafted MJ in 1984, it became the best decision in their history. Jordan went on to win six NBA championships with the Bulls. Moreover, these are the only championships the Bulls ever won till now. Charles Barkley, however, signed with the Sixers in his rookie season and changed teams twice.
