When LeBron James began playing in 2003, he was only 18. With four NBA titles to his name, the Los Angeles Lakers icon has already established himself as an NBA great. However, at 37 years of age, James has no signs of slowing down as he continues to lead his team during the 2021-22 season.
James has been playing at a high level for consecutive seasons, currently averaging 28.5 points per game. Most fans and experts are in awe of James’ game, as many players struggle to perform well in their late 30s.
Golden State Warriors icon Draymond Green seems to be in agreement. Let’s take a look at what Green had to say about the four-time NBA champion and his records.

Draymond Green on LeBron James and the records he might be making
Recently, Green spoke of James‘ game, and how he is about to own all possible NBA records related to age. “LeBron’s gonna basically own all of the ‘youngest to ever to’ and all of the ‘oldest to ever to’ records in the book. Just think about that,” Green said.
Having said that, James probably has a few seasons left in him. While he has spoken about his health at times, it is clear that James will be playing for some time more. If that happens, it is possible that he might break all those records Green mentioned. After all, James has been putting up consistent numbers for years, and will most likely do so till he retires.

Most fans seem to agree with what Green has to say. Few argued, pointing out that some of James’ records have already been broken. His four championships were also included, where people mentioned him losing more finals and playoff series than they would have preferred.
“That’s true, and for all the reasons that is true is why he is 4 for 10,” wrote one fan, while many stated that James is now the greatest of all time for them. “The ONLY PLAYER TO BE IN HIS PRIME HIS WHOLE DAMN NBA CAREER,” another user wrote.

James last played against Minnesota Timberwolves, scoring 26 points in the team’s 108-103 win. Though the Lakers were struggling early on, James’ reliable play has gotten them back into the mix.
The team and James will be facing the Sacramento Kings next, on Wednesday, 9:00 AM IST.
