Miami Heat was one of the most dominant teams in the NBA during the early 2010s. The trio of LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade powered the Heat to two consecutive championships and four consecutive Finals. However, there was another crucial member of that Heat roster who has now fallen out of the limelight: Mario Chalmers.

Mario Chalmers, two-time NBA champion with the Heat, is now back in the NBA but this time in the G League. Chalmers worked out for 13 teams before being drafted by the Wolves in 2008. However, he was later traded to Miami Heat.

However, things didn’t turn out how Chalmers expected and he had to try his luck in the Italian League. The 35-year-old has set his sight at the NBA again and has signed with Denver Nuggets‘ affiliate. Playing the G-League will provide him a good opportunity and a platform to impress NBA teams and prove that he is capable of playing in the NBA again.
