“The Laker fans already love him. He’s already brought us one. He’s already got his jersey, it’ll be hanging up, but most of the guys who’ve been with the Lakers have won multiple championships. So, that’s all he has to do. Just win another one. Then it’s not just about the Lakers. It’s all about his legacy here, and it’s not just here — it’s in Hollywood. LeBron, he’s so amazing, not just as a basketball player, but he’s the biggest celebrity in a celebrity-driven town. So you got to give him credit for that too, as well.”

Magic Johnson is regarded by many as the greatest point guard of all time. In fact, he is credited with revolutionizing the role of a point guard in the NBA. For his contributions, the Lakers have retired Magic Johnson’s jersey number 32. LeBron James may be the biggest star in LA right now, but he has won just one championship with the Lakers. His biggest contribution has been with Miami Heat, where he won two championships.

However, the Lakers have a monstrous roster at their helm this season. Despite a disappointing start to the 2021-22 campaign, the Lakers are among the title contenders this season. King James is in red hot form and that was visible during the first game. With a top tea at his side, LeBron could power the Lakers to their 18th NBA title this season.
