Kevin Durant is undoubtedly the franchise leader of the Brooklyn Nets. It is at his discretion that the franchise decides whether or not to trade a player. So a healthy relationship with him arguably ensures a stable future for any member of the Brooklyn Nets.

As the leader, it is his responsibility to ensure that every player on the team understands their role and feels included. Therefore, in the spirit of healthy competition, he often engages with his teammates in friendly banter.

Little did he know that Cameron Thomas, a rookie out of Louisiana State, would have an equally hilarious response to his antics.

Other than the Big Three, the Brooklyn Nets had little depth in the roster last season. However, they have added some interesting prospects to their roster that certainly make the fans feel they did not put their future at risk for Harden.

One reason that should excite the Nets about their future is Cameron Thomas. The shooting guard out of Louisiana State impressed experts and fans across the league in the pre-season Summer League. He was named the joint MVP of the Summer League for averaging a stellar 27 points per game.
