Without mentioning Michael Jordan, any discussion of the greatest basketball player of all time is worthless. His championship rings, among other things, place him in an elite group of players.

Aside from Robert Horry, who is famous for stepping up in big games, none of the other players have more rings than Jordan in NBA’s new age.

Jordan, along with his colleague Scottie Pippen and veterans like Bob Cousy and Kareem Abdul Jabbar, led the NBA in team success. And, to this day, he isn’t afraid to brag about his achievements. He proudly displayed his life achievements on his zoom call background.

What does this mean for the Michael Jordan vs LeBron James debate?

While some fans are arguably correct in mentioning that LeBron has had more success in reaching NBA Finals, but Jordan was the one who never lost when he reached the finals. Consequently, the number of rings that Michael Jordan has is the same number as the number of times LeBron has lost in the Finals.

Therefore, when it comes to the big moment, Michael Jordan has delivered more efficiently. Somehow, nobody remembers who comes second in the finals as much as they remember who came first. Therefore, even though both LeBron and Jordan are extremely successful, there’s still no definitive answer to this debate.
