Many teams have rebuilt their squad during the off-season in a bid to improve their performance in the coming season. But no team comes close to what the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers have done. Both teams have had a massive overhaul of their roster during the off-season. The Lakers, primarily, have built a ‘super team’ to reclaim the NBA title.

Their roster boasts of the likes of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, DeAndre Jordan, among other stars. They are full of veterans with a lot of experience in the NBA.

The Nets, on the other hand, have added LaMarcus Aldridge, Paul Millsap, and other stars to an already star-studded roster that includes James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving.

James Harden opens up on Los Angeles Lakers

Brooklyn Nets star James Harden was asked in a recent interview about the Lakers’ 2021-22 NBA prospects and how they could fit in. To this, Harden replied that their team looks great on the paper.

“They got to figure out the fit. On paper, they look great,” Harden replied.

“But guys have experience, we got the same thing. So, you gotta go work it on the court.”

Indeed, the Lakers have a monstrous roster for the new season. But Frank Vogel has a gigantic task to make them work together. It is he who will find out who are starters, who can be a great sixth man, and who all can be the best while coming from the bench. Brooklyn Nets are another franchise that is chasing the NBA title, their first. They have previously won two ABA championships and have won two conference titles and four division titles since then. They lost 4-3 to Milwaukee Bucks in the playoffs last season, but this time, they are planning on mounting a serious challenge.
